Congratulations to our latest batch of graduates from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, who will be embarking on a new journey to save lives, heal, and break new ground in the field of medical research.


FILS’ Ms Sarah Stephenie John Sandanaraj received the Best Presentation Award from the Indian Pharmacological Association for their research on advancing drug discovery for the treatment of urinary stone conditions.


The project focuses on exploring the anti-arthritic potential of Hanguana malayana (Jack) Merr, a widely distributed plant in Southeast Asia.


All told, our team won three gold awards, four silvers, three bronzes, and three special awards. This tally means we’ve won 81 awards in only four years of taking part!


QIU’s team finished ahead of top-class challenges from Universiti Malaya and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)
