Led by our Faculty of Medicine, the campaign’s penultimate event shared best practices in medication management with the residents of Flat Harmoni in Buntong.


Organised by our Faculty of Medicine, the fourth session in the series focused on the role of mental health in managing non-communicable diseases.


Led by our Faculty of Medicine, the third workshop in the ongoing Community Health and Wellness campaign encouraged participants to engage in regular physical activity as a safeguard against severe illness.


This initiative underscored QIU’s proactive approach to identifying and addressing mental health concerns among its student community.


Over two days, participants engaged in oral and poster presentations, showcasing cutting-edge research and innovative solutions. The event featured the distinctive PechaKucha presentation format, challenging presenters to communicate their ideas concisely and creatively.
This year’s conference saw more than 120 healthcare professionals from Malaysia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and India gathered on campus. Expert speakers from China, India, Singapore, and the US were present to share their insights on the latest developments in their respective fields.


Prof. Förstermann is currently the Chief Scientific Officer of the Johannes Gutenberg University Medical Center in Mainz, Germany—a role he has held since April 2013. He also serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and is a professor in the Department of Pharmacology.


Held on campus, this workshop focused on three objectives: sharing strategies to prevent physical injuries among the elderly; discussing the importance of creating and maintaining strong support networks; and communicating the best techniques to promote their emotional well-being.
