As part of QIUP’s continuous efforts to provide the best for our undergraduates, Sime Darby Industrial delegates were on campus to discuss possible collaboration and held a career talk. The delegation led by Pn Mahnom binti Yusof, Head HR Business Partner (M) & Industrial Relations met QIU academics to discuss potential collaboration in various areas such as research & AI technology, mobile apps, training programs, candidate pipeline, fluid curriculum and industry on campus concept to enhance experiential learning for undergraduates.
They also held a career talk with about 100 undergraduates preparing for internship next semester which was proved to be very beneficial for all those who attended. Among the topics discussed included Sime Darby’s Industrial Graduate Employability Training Program ( iGET 2019) and Sales & Marketing Apprenticeship Program 2019 ( SAP 2019).
We thank Sime Darby Industrial for their time and look forward for more collaborative efforts in the near future.
