At Quest International University (QIU), we don’t reward our heroes with a stuffy award ceremony with suits and polite applause. Instead, we take them on a vacation!
For the third year in a row, the QIU family came together to celebrate our heroes with sun, sea, food, and fire at the annual QIU Bonfire 3.0 in Teluk Batik, Lumut.
Over 700 of our students, staff, and academics joined the festivities, where we feted students who represented QIU in academic and co-curricular competitions.
And after they put our name in lights, what better way to thank them than a fun-filled bonfire party on the beach?
As expected, many took the chance to jump into the sea, while others took part in games like beach football, cricket, and the traditional tug-of-war. Of course, some just grabbed their deckchairs and enjoyed the relaxing sea breeze.
And like the Avengers chowed down on shawarma after saving the world, the QIU heroes rounded off another year of success by feasting on the best seaside food ever–barbecue!
The bonfire, as always, was the centrepiece, as we gathered around the flames to chat and joke.
Most importantly, we laughed, we played, and we united as a family amidst Teluk Batik’s stunning scenery.
