The School of Communication at Quest International University (QIU) recently welcomed four of its Academic Advisors and External Examiners to campus for a special Engagement Day, marking an occasion where all four advisors were together at QIU.
The visit brought together the advisors supporting the school’s four programmes — Bachelor of
Corporate Communication, Bachelor of Mass Communication (Advertising), Bachelor of Mass
Communication (Journalism) and Master of Communication— providing a valuable opportunity for meaningful exchange with QIU’s academic community.
During their visit, the advisors met with QIU academic staff and students, sharing their expertise, perspectives and professional insights on the evolving communication landscape. Discussions also focused on curriculum development, academic quality and ways to further enhance students’ learning experiences and industry readiness.

A highlight was the student engagement session on “Truth, Trust and Influence: Navigating the Future of Communication,” a timely conversation about the challenges and responsibilities facing the next generation of communication professionals. The session gave students an opportunity to engage directly with the advisors and gain perspectives on the changing communication landscape, professional expectations and the role of trust and influence in today’s industry.
For the School of Communication, having all four advisors on campus at the same time was a significant milestone. Beyond strengthening the school’s academic and industry connections, the engagement reflects QIU’s continued commitment to quality enhancement, industry relevance and preparing graduates for an ever-changing communication landscape.

The School of Communication extends its appreciation to all four Academic Advisors and External Examiners for taking the time to visit QIU, engage with our staff and students, and contribute their valuable perspectives to the continued development of the school and its programmes.
