Quest International University Perak (QIUP)’s Faculty of Medicine (FOM) today had a simple but meaningful opening ceremony for its additional building. Located just beside the Faculty of Medicine, this additional facility is to cater for its increase in academic strength in line with keeping QIUP’s MBBS programme on par with global standards.
Present at the opening ceremony were Vice Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Dr. Raman Narayanasamy, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Nicholas Goh, Registrar, Mr. Muhammad MG Omar, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Professor Dr. Alam Sher Malik, FOM academic staff and heads of departments of QIUP.
Mr. Nicholas Goh pointed out that the opening of this building affirms the University’s commitment to offer only the best to its students and continuously bring in highly qualified academic staff.
“We are moving in the right direction and QIUP will continue to expand with quality teaching staff to cater for the ever increasing number of students. This new building also fits in perfectly with the University’s expansion plans for the future”, added Mr. Nicholas Goh.
The ceremony concluded with a tree planting ceremony at the compound of the building headed by Mr. Nicholas Goh and senior management staff.
