The MBBS programme at QIU follows an Integrated Hybrid Problem-Based Learning Curriculum. The 5-year MBBS curriculum consists of two continuous phases: Phase I (Years 1 & 2) and Phase II (Years 3 to 5). In Phase I, the emphasis is on integrated basic sciences with early clinical exposure, while Phase II focuses on the clinical sciences integrated with the applied aspects of basic and laboratory sciences.

Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) / General Certificate Of Education Advanced (A-Level)Grades BBB, ABC or AAC in THREE (3) subjects, i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics.
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)Grade B4 each in FIVE (5) subjects, i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Additional Mathematics.
Matriculation / Foundation in Science / Pre-Medical CourseCGPA 3.00 (out of 4) in THREE (3) subjects, i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics, provided the course is not less than 1 year in the same accredited institution.

The minimum entry qualification is Grade B each in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Additional Mathematics and another subject at School Certificate level.

Diploma in Health SciencesCGPA 3.50 (out of 4), provided the course is not less than 5 semesters or 2 1⁄2 years in the same accredited institution.

The minimum entry qualification is TWO (2) Bs each in Biology and/or Chemistry and/or Physics and THREE (3) credits each in English and Mathematics or Additional Mathematics and another subject at School Certificate level.

Degree in Health / Pure / Applied SciencesCGPA 3.00 (out of 4) for a 5 year undergraduate medical programme.
Degree in the Arts / HumanitiesCGPA 3.50 (out of 4) for a 5 year undergraduate medical programme.
Other QualificationsExamination or any other foundation programme in the sciences, approved by MOHE.
English Proficiency for International StudentsIELTS: 5.0

TOEFL PBT: 410 / TOEFL IBT: 34

OR

Malaysian University English Test (MUET) : Band 4
