QIU Signs Partnerhip with India’s Happy Valley Business School

QIU has added another international education institution to our network of academic partners after we signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Happy Valley Business School (HVBS) of India today.

The agreement, signed at QIU’s campus, establishes a framework for cooperation in student and faculty exchange, joint research initiatives, and collaborative academic programmes.

The MoU was officially signed by Global Integrated Training Associates Chief Executive Officer Nicholas Goh and Dr. C. Kanagaraj, HVBS Chief Executive Officer of HVBS. The ceremony was witnessed by Professor Dr. Abdul Raheem Yusof, Dean of QIU’s Faculty of Business and Management, and Dr. T. Bina, Director of HVBS.

HVBS is the first Stand-alone B-School in Coimbatore, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Chennai’s Anna University.

Under this agreement, QIU and HVBS will collaborate on various academic initiatives, including student and faculty exchange programmes. Students will gain exposure to subjects such as cross-cultural studies and international trade practices, while faculty members will participate in short-term teaching and training exchanges.

Both institutions will work together on conferences, seminars, workshops, research projects and publications with opportunities to publish findings in international journals and jointly author books.

The partnership aligns with QIU’s vision of promoting global education and fostering international collaborations to enhance academic excellence.

Our knowledge exchange hit the ground running immediately after the proverbial ink dried on the MoU, as nearly 40 HVBS students were given a special seminar by our faculty on Green Strategy Roadblocks.

The seminar delved into the challenges faced by companies who attempt to implement sustainability initiatives, and how said companies can overcome these challenges. As they say, there’s no time like the present to start a good thing!

With this new collaboration, QIU and HVBS reaffirm their commitment to academic excellence and the development of future business leaders with global perspectives. We look forward to a fruitful partnership that will benefit students, faculty, and the broader academic community.
