QIU’s aggressive international recruitment drive for 2019 began in Tamil Nadu where the University participated in various education fairs and school visits to promote quality tertiary education opportunities at QIU.
Kicking off the trip was The Hindu International Education Fair, organised by The Hindu newspaper. Held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Chennai on 25th and 26th January, the event saw great interest in QIU where our representatives answered questions from students and parents who were keen to know more about the university.
At the same time in Pondicherry and Tanjavur, our team consisting of members from the Faculty of Medicine and Student Recruitment visited schools and addressed the keen interest shown in our medical and science programmes.
QIU also held meetings with 2 educational institutions in Salem where possible collaborations were discussed with school visits in Dharmapuri and Hosur.
The visit to Tamil Nadu proved to be very beneficial and marks only the start of QIU’s expansion into India and we look forward to welcoming more Indian students very soon.
