It’s no secret that financial literacy is one of the most important things you could learn in life. No, we’re not exaggerating—good financial habits could make or break your path in life.
Joining forces with UOB Bank, QIU’s Faculty of Business and Management hosted a recent financial literacy workshop dedicated to promoting financial awareness among over a hundred students.
The enriching event was part of the U@campus series, a fantastic initiative by UOB Bank aimed at educating undergraduates on self-financial management and planning.
The workshop focused on essential topics such as the lack of financial literacy, current real issues, inflation, smart buying habits, understanding credit cards, and developing effective saving and spending plans.
This endeavour aligns with the university’s vision to become a regional reference point for financial literacy. The Faculty of Business and Management is committed to organizing such activities not only for its students but also for the wider public.
By actively promoting financial literacy, we hope to equip individuals with the necessary tools to make informed financial decisions and secure a better future.
The enthusiastic response from the students demonstrated their eagerness to enhance their financial literacy skills.
We’d like to thank UOB Bank, as well as all the participants and speakers for making this workshop a resounding success.
Together, let’s continue to foster financial literacy and empower individuals to achieve financial well-being!
