In a significant move for cross-border educational cooperation, QIU has joined forces with China’s Taishan Polytechnic and Huashi (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd to establish a new knowledge centre focusing on vocational skills training.
The Malaysia-Ban·Mo College (CHEC) will focus on faculty development, teaching material and resource construction, standard construction, and teaching equipment. The partnership also emphasizes international education cooperation and students’ opportunities to study abroad.
Our newest partner Taishan Polytechnic is a Chinese national pilot college with major specialty clusters that include manufacturing technology, IT, trade, art, agriculture, tourism, automobile engineering, education, and more. Meanwhile, Huashi (Malaysia) has undertaken 23 construction projects all over Malaysia since its inception.
The CHEC will focus on integrating “vocational skills + language + study abroad” programs, aiming to cultivate local technicians and international talents urgently needed by Chinese enterprises operating in Malaysia.
Aligning with the “Belt and Road” initiative, the ultimate goal is to enhance local employment capabilities, promote industrial development and livelihood, and establish a people-oriented brand for the overseas vocational education institution.
The establishment of the Malaysia-Ban·Mo College marks a significant step towards enhancing vocational education and international cooperation between China and Malaysia. It reflects a strategic effort to build a sustainable and inclusive educational platform that contributes to industrial growth and community development, reinforcing the shared goals of the “Belt and Road” initiative.
We look forward to the exciting opportunities created by this promising partnership!
