How to Make Just-Bread Last Just A Bit Longer

QIU’s Just-Bread bakery has been delivering fresh scrumptious bread to you for over a month now, and we’ve been getting some wonderful feedback!

It’s so good that you don’t want to leave anything behind, but sometimes you can’t eat it all at once. Don’t worry, you don’t have to discard them yet!

Here are some quick tips on how to make your Just-Bread experience last longer, courtesy of our expert Chef Muganthan Marshal (that’s him above).

If you’re planning to keep bread in the fridge, wrap the bread well with cling wrap.

Keep them in the freezer if you intend to only have them after 3 days.
And if you intend to have your bread within 3 days, keep it in the refrigerator.

Thaw and toast over a cooking pan, with a little butter (a minute on each side on a preheated small to medium fire pan). You are all set!

If the bread has been in your refrigerator or freezer over a week, you can try this: place your bread slices on a baking tray and bake at low temperature till dry.

Then blend the toasted bread slices to become bread crumbs for making fish fingers or burger patties.

If you’re looking for a healthier option, cut up the toasted bread slices and use them for salads.

So don’t fret if you were tempted to buy a whole loaf and can’t finish it in one meal. Instead, follow our tips and keep enjoying your treats for days!
