Some of our proudest moments come when we see our students represent the university in prestigious competitions.
Hot on the heels of our recent win at the Malaysia Technology Expo 2022 , they’ve have done it again—and this time, it’s our culinary students’ turn!
They won seven awards at Culinaire Malaysia 2022, which is one of the biggest national culinary competitions around.
The accolade list included two bronze awards and five diploma awards.
As always, our stellar students faced some tough competition, going up against some 350 participants from public and private universities like Taylor’s University and INTI International University, as well as top hotels and restaurants like the Grand Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental and Pullman Kuala Lumpur.

We’re over the moon with the performance of all our students who bring the QIU banner into competition.
Regardless of the result, they always give their all, and that’s what makes us proud.
These competitions will also give them invaluable real world experience that will serve them well in their careers.
