Realising the increased interest in Early Childhood Education, QIUP recently organised a talk titled The Incredible Early Years: Supporting Young Children in realising Their Full Potentials which was presented by guest speaker, Datuk Dr Chiam Heng Keng. The talk was attended by more than 100 participants in the early childhood industry.
Her related presentation entitled “The Incredible Early Years: Supporting Young Children in realising Their Full Potentials” constitute a very effective combination between the significance of adults in children’s lives and effectiveness of integrating the National Preschool Curriculum Standard into children’s learning experiences.
Besides listening to the very informational talk, participants also had the opportunity to tour the Early Childhood simulation lab which was specifically set up to give real life experience to those pursuing the Diploma and Degree programmes in Early Childhood Education at QIUP.
