The two Early Childhood Education (ECE) Programmes offered by QIUP, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Bachelor for Early Childhood Education (Hons) received overwhelming reviews from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) during its Monitoring Visit on Friday, 15 September 2017.
The MQA officers were impressed by the qualities of the ECE programmes. Among others, they applauded the unique ECE logo created exclusively for QIUP’s pre-service educators, children, families and related stakeholders; the QIUP’s guidelines for ECE professionals developed by QIUP for its pre-service educators; the unique Uni-Home Partnerships programme; community services rendered by the pre-service educators as well as the state-of–the art simulation room. One of their remarks were the ECE programme at QIUP sets the precedence of a quality programme and that QIUP sets the benchmark for the quality ECE programme.
QIUP reiterated its pledge to the MQA that, in partnership with the MQA, it is committed fully to the mission of enhancing the quality of ECE programmes delivery.
The acknowledgement received from the MQA is a clear testimony of QIUP’s continuous drive towards providing quality programmes to the nation as well as international communities.
