QIUP delegate led by Mr Nicholas Goh, Chief Operating Officer today handed over scholarships for Sri Lankan students to the Ministry of Higher Education of Sri Lanka.
Present at this meeting, in Colombo, was Mr. Madhawa Dewasurendra, Additional Secretary (Development) who received the scholarships. The Sri Lankan Ministry of Higher Education will select deserving students to receive these scholarships based on scholastic and extracurricular achievements.
Other members of the QIUP delegation were Madam Noor Aisyah Mohd Yusuff, Acting Registrar and Mr. Ananth Latchumanan, Deputy Director of Student Recruitment Department.
Besides handing over the scholarships, the Ministry was briefed about the University and future plans. Overall it was a fruitful working visit as both parties discussed on future collaborative efforts.
