Quest International University Perak (QIUP) continued its efforts to ensure students of QIUP are truly job-ready when they graduate by signing an MOU with Swiss-Garden Beach Resort Damai Laut as part of an agreement for the hospitality and tourism students to pursue their internship training at the resort.
The MoU was signed by the General Manager of Swiss-Garden Beach Resort Damai Laut, Mr. Mohamed Elsayeh and Chief Operating Officer of QIUP, Mr. Nicholas Goh.
The 300 room Swiss-Garden Beach Resort Damai Laut and Swiss-Court Holiday Apartments are within walking distance from the spectacular Damai Laut Golf & Country Club. This 4-star, beachfront hotel offers accommodation of international standards, superb resort facilities and personalized service which will ensure students of QIUP get the best training possible.

To mark this historic occasion, students, lecturers and staff also participated in a CSR project. Around 80 students took part in this cleanup project and the areas focused were the resort itself, including the beach and the formerly closed jetty in Lumut. This was done simultaneously as the students, lecturers and staff was broken into two groups. After a long and tiring 2 hours of cleaning non-stop, those who were at the jetty rendezvoused with the rest at the resort and was welcomed with scrumptious food provided by Damai Laut Beach Resort itself.
Later on, the students went on the Nature Walk that was in the resort itself. This was to widen the knowledge of the students on the importance on keeping Mother Nature conserved and clean. Despite going home exhausted, everyone sure did have a good time getting in touch with Mother Nature.
