QIU Signs Mou With Institut Delta

QIU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Perak’s Institut Delta today, furthering our efforts to make education more accessible for all sections of the community.

The agreement will open the doors for Institut Delta’s LCCI students to pursue a Bachelor of Accountancy degree (Hons) in QIU. Institut Delta’s students will also have the chance to pursue their Level 4 papers in QIU once they complete Level 3 in the institute.

LCCI qualifications are work-related qualifications, created to give professional learners the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the workplace. Originally developed by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the qualifications cover a broad range of subject areas including English language, finance, marketing, customer service, business administration and IT.

On hand to sign the agreement was QIU Chief Operating Officer Mr Nicholas Goh and Institut Delta Chairman Mr Goh Ooi Lip, while QIU Faculty of Business and Management Dean Prof Loke Siew Phaik and Institut Delta’s Board of Directors member Tan Gua Wha witnessed the signing.

In his speech, Mr Nicholas welcomed the opportunity to work with Institut Delta, adding that QIU would strive to provide their students with the best education possible.

Meanwhile, Mr Goh said he was grateful for the chance to work with QIU, as the university would give the institute’s students a chance to further their studies beyond the LCCI qualifications.

Congratulations to QIU and Institut Delta on the launch of this partnership. We hope that this collaboration will be beneficial to both parties and the community at large.
