QIU marked a significant milestone in its commitment to sustainability with the QIU SDG Leader Recognition Ceremony, honouring 12 dynamic individuals who completed the university’s SDG leadership programme, The Sustainables!
Organized by the SDG Leadership Cluster, this transformative programme identified potential leaders through a rigorous selection process that included video applications and interviews.
The selected participants underwent an intensive three-month training comprising seven focused modules designed to equip them with the knowledge and skills to lead sustainability initiatives effectively.
The training concluded on September 26, culminating in the recognition ceremony. This event celebrated the dedication and growth of these emerging leaders, who will now take on the crucial roles of spearheading QIU’s SDG initiatives and mentoring future leaders within the university.
