Quest International University Perak (QIU) is a firm believer that our graduates must be industry ready and hit the ground running when they graduate. Complementing classroom teaching with real world experience while studying is a must in every programme at the university.
As such, the School of Hospitality at QIU recently catered for 100 guests at a high tea event at the 1st Ipoh Company The Girls’ Brigade (GB) 60th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service at Methodist Girls’ School Ipoh (MGS). The event saw guests made up of Board of Managers and Governors of Girls’ Brigade, current and past officers, heads of school, representatives from the sponsoring church, the Boys’s Brigade, as well as past and present Brigaders.
This has provided a fantastic platform for our students to practise their skills and apply what they have learned in a real world environment. Guests were pleased with the variety and quality of food served which is a testament of the high standards set by the university.
