In continuous efforts to celebrate QIUP international students’ days, we spent a fun-filled afternoon celebrating UAE Day with the increasing number of Arabian student population who chose this university to obtain their tertiary education. Other than mingling with the rest of the QIUP family, they also shared their beautiful culture with us.
Since food has attained the status of a cultural expression that speaks the similarities among us, members of the staff and students of QIUP experienced an exciting lunch break, indulging in both the food and culture of UAE through treats to exotic tastes and aromas of local dishes from UAE including Arabian Coffee while enjoying showcases of short clippings, music videos that depicted the best of UAE!
All and all, it was a lovely occasion and we had tons of FUN!
