About the Faculty of Business and Management

Welcome to Faculty of Business & Management

As the largest faculty in QIU, the Faculty of Business and Management offers students a diverse choice of programmes. The Faculty provides an array of different educational platforms that incorporate learning inside and outside of the classroom. We work closely with our industrial partners, giving our students the chance to hear from the real-world experts and to hone their skills in real business settings. Experiential learning and industry engagement are thus central to our learning and teaching efforts. We strive to equip students with managerial, entrepreneurial, leadership, teamwork, information management and problem-solving skills. About The Faculty

To be the prominent business school in Malaysia, recognised internationally for its merits in business education and research.

  1. To offer cutting-edge, market-driven undergraduate and post-graduate programmes in Business and Management fields that impact the local and global knowledge economy;
  2. To promote research and innovation in frontier disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of study in its various programmes with collaborative links to premier universities and centres of excellence;

School Of Hospitality

The SCHOOL OF HOSPITALITY prepares its students to excel in this exciting industry by exposing them to the wide-ranging operational and managerial aspects of the international hotel, culinary and tourism industry.

School of Postgraduate Studies

The School of Postgraduate Studies provides a stimulating environment for developing leaders who will be adept at overcoming issues facing today’s businesses and communities. We guide the candidate to develop the skills to integrate, analyse and synthesise information, conduct independent research, appraise problems, generate new insights and communicate effectively.

School Of Business

The SCHOOL OF BUSINESS provides students with an in-depth understanding of how businesses are organised, strategies are developed, decisions are taken, and how these factors impact competitiveness in business and commerce.

School Of Accounting And Finance

The SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE sets the stage for an in-depth understanding of accounting and finance roles, including financial accounting, assurance, taxation, corporate finance and financial management. Its curriculum is tailored to the specifications set by professional bodies such as the MIA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA (Australia), the MICPA and MFPC.
