Quest International University Perak (QIUP) recently held its inaugural Staff celebration dinner at its campus. The celebration saw some 300 people gathering at the campus comprising of staff and their family members.
The theme for this celebration was “6 years & Going Strong” where staff and family members cooking some food for the function in a potluck style. In his opening speech, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Nicholas Goh welcomed everyone and stressed that this maybe the first of its kind celebration for staff but it definitely won’t be the last as this will be an annual affair from now on. He also explained that normally a potluck is only held among family and close friends and that is why this celebration was held in a potluck style as we are all one big family.
Highlight of the day was the recognition of 33 staff who have served the University for five and six years. They received a plaque, certificate and a token sum of cash to recognize their loyalty to the University. All who attended had a good time with mesmerising entertainment by our very own talented staff. The event also saw staff winning fantastic prizes in the lucky draws which included a 3 days 2 nights stay in Prana Resort in Koh Samui, a 55 inch Sony TV, i Phone 7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Sony home theatre system, mini fridge, electrical items and many more.
Everyone had a good time mingling around and getting to know their colleague’s family members while having a hearty meal prepared by all.
