QIU Business Students Shine in National MCMC Creative Video Competition

What began as a creative challenge on the power of digital connectivity has now turned into a national triumph for three students from the Faculty of Business and Management at Quest International University, after their ideas and storytelling earned them recognition among Malaysia’s top young digital creators.

From a field of nearly 50 talented young creators, our Diploma in Business Management students Divashini Ramachandran, Kit Lee, and Ryan Moo were named among the top 10 winners in the Creative Video Competition organised by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

Held in conjunction with World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, the competition carried the theme “Digital Lifelines: Strengthening Resilience in a Connected World” and attracted participation from university students throughout Malaysia.

The achievement is especially significant as the competition featured participants from institutions including Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya, and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Participants were tasked with producing creative videos that explored the concept of digital lifelines through innovative storytelling and ideation. The QIU students impressed judges with videos that highlighted how resilient technology has evolved into an essential digital lifeline for modern businesses, particularly in an increasingly connected and fast-changing world.

The prize-giving ceremony was officiated by Deputy Communications Minister YB Teo Nie Ching.

It was a proud moment not only for the Faculty of Business and Management, but for the university as a whole. This latest success comes just two weeks after the faculty’s students and academics delivered an outstanding performance at the Perak Sejahtera 2030 Research Poster Competition, further reinforcing QIU’s growing momentum on the national stage.

Congratulations to all our winners!
