Social get-together hosted by Quest International University Perak (QIUP) for management and staff of Hospital Taiping

A “MAJLIS MAKAN MALAM” was hosted by the Management of Quest International University Perak (QIUP) on the 17th January 2017 in view respect to honour the collaborative work established between Hospital Taiping and QIUP in training clinical students in MBBS Programme.

The dinner was attended by the Director of Hospital Taiping, Dr Hj Kamaruddin, his spouse Puan Hajjah Shalihan, Deputy Director of Hospital Taiping, En Ridzuan, Chief Operating Officer of QIUP, Mr Nicholas Goh, Vice Chancellor of QIUP, Y.Bhg Professor Dato Dr Raman Narayanasamy, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Prof Dr Alam Sher Malik, Director of Administration, QIUP, Dr Kamalakshi Saminathan, Deputy Deans and Clinical Staff of QIUP and Clinical Staff of Hospital Taiping.

It was indeed a pleasure for our Chief Operating Offficer, Mr Nicholas Goh to express his appreciation to the Director and the team of staff of Hospital Taiping.

The University is indeed proud of the commitment displayed by the Hospital leadership and team of staff in giving their full co-operation in medical students clinical training.

The speech was followed by a slide presentation by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof Dr Alam Sher Malik, with the updates on Academic Programme of the Faculty of Medicine.  Highlights of the presentation included the briefing about the forthcoming visit of the MMC /MQA team for Accreditation on MBBS Programme.  He explained about the complimentary goals in working together to achieve success in the coming Accreditation visit.

The Dinner and Fellowship adjourned at 10.00 pm with appreciation extended to Prof Dr Lee Mun Seng, Deputy Dean (Clinical) and Dr Kamalakshi Saminathan, Director of Administration for their tireless contribution in organising the Dinner event.
