With the increasing international student population at QIUP, a Sri Lankan day was held at the University cafeteria with the aim of getting to know about the various countries students come from who have chosen QIUP as the place to obtain their tertiary education.
Understanding the importance of getting to know the various cultures, the University will organize this event on a monthly basis where the focus will be on one country where QIUP’s international students come from.
Activities for the day included showcasing Sri Lankan food which was prepared by students, watching videos and understanding Sri Lanka. It was a fun filled activity for staff and students while they savored the delicious Sri Lankan food and mingled with our International students.
