QIU’s Bachelor of Arts (Honours) TESL student, Darshni Gunasekaran has done the university proud once again, after her research paper was recently published in the International Journal of Computational Engineering Research (IJCER).
Titled “Students’ Perspective Learning Online: Higher Education Evolution”, Darshni co-authored this paper with Gunadevi K. Jeevi Subramaniam from Politeknik Sultan Azlan Shah.
With the unprecedented shift to online teaching and learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the research paper measures students’ perception of virtual learning in higher education institutions.
IJCER is an international online monthly journal which focuses on publishing original research which contributes significantly to further scientific knowledge in the fields of engineering and technology
Oh, and if you feel like you’ve heard her name before, Darshni is the student who also had two of her poems selected for Volume III and Volume IV of the ‘Covid-19 Pandemic Poems’ international e-book series.
QIU has always encouraged its students to constantly participate in educational competitions and contribute to journals as part of the university’s mission to produce holistic graduates. Darshni’s contribution to IJCER is a testament to this fact and we are proud of her.
We take this opportunity to congratulate Darshni on her achievement and look forward to more publications from her!
