QIU INKS MOA TO OFFER CQRM CERTIFICATION

QIU is proud to announce that it is now an official Education Provider for the CQRM (Certified in Quantitative Risk Management) international certification.

The certification is awarded by the International Institute of Professional Education and Research (IIPER), which is a worldwide professional certification education and research organisation with offices and members in multiple countries.

The University will be offering the CQRM certification to its students and members of the public after signing a Memorandum of Agreement with IIPER’s global partner Edustats Analytics here today.

QIU is the first university in Malaysia to join forces with Edustats Analytics and promote CQRM to students and the public alike.

On hand to sign the MoA was QIU Chief Operating Officer Mr Nicholas Goh and Edustats Analytics General Manager Mr Harley Ooi. Also present to witness the signing was the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology Prof Dr Vilasini Pillai.

Besides benefiting both parties, QIU’s partnerships are designed to have a positive impact on our students and the community at large.

QIU has incorporated the CQRM as an optional value-added professional certificate on top of its Degree programme. Meanwhile, the University’s Actuarial Science students are given an eight-module exemption for this certification programme.

Members of the corporate community throughout the nation can also obtain this certification from QIU.

We’d like to thank Edustats Analytics for making this venture a success, and we look forward to a fruitful partnership!
