Under the agreement, students from SIAH have a direct pathway to pursue life science degree programmes under QIU’s Faculty of Integrated Life Sciences.
The collaboration will focus primarily on the production of bamboo tissue-cultured plantlets
which will be used as biofuel, centring around our custom-built plant tissue culture facility.
This initiative will shift the focus from imported agricultural products to locally-grown produce—while also creating jobs for the people of Seychelles and attracting more young people to the farming sector.
