We returned from the competition with a remarkable three gold awards and a silver award, cementing our place at the forefront of learning transformation.


The partnership reflects both institutions’ commitment to achieving measurable results through evidence-based strategies and their drive to nurture innovation that benefits all students, especially those with special educational needs.


The QIU team’s achievements stood out among strong competition from institutions such as Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perlis, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Universiti Teknologi Sarawak, and their Indonesian counterparts.

The partnership will see both institutions offering a specialised postgraduate programme tailored to the unique requirements of special education, aiming to strengthen the pool of highly qualified educators who can support and uplift students with special needs in both Malaysia and China.


Toe Eng Hong unleashed a thrilling exhibition of martial artistry with the long staff and barehanded combat forms to achieve two podium finishes at the 22nd Penang State Wushu, Lion Dance, and Dragon Dance Championship 2025.


Since its inception in 2019, the championship has brought together aspiring orators from across Malaysia to showcase their skills in speech, persuasion, and critical thinking.


This partnership was formalised during Alagappa University’s on-campus international conference, where Prof. Aznan had the privilege of being the keynote speaker.
