It was indeed a proud day for Quest International University Perak (QIUP) when its football team, QIUP FC beat Pos Malaysia Berhad (Perak), a Division 1 team in the Ipoh League in a friendly game.
Playing at Kompleks Sukan Pasir Puteh, QIUP FC won by a narrow margin of 3-2. It was a very keenly contested match which saw both sides playing very hard but eventually the determined QIUP FC won the match.
QIUP FC Team Manager, Shahrul Hasnizam, a former Perak State football player was delighted with the performance of his players as they beat a more experienced and senior team. According to Shahrul, the players showed tremendous fighting spirit and never gave up till the end.
Adding icing to the cake was the fact QIUP FC played donning their brand new Jersey for the very first time and it surely proved to be lucky for the team.
Well done to the team and we hope to see more victories in the future.
