Quest International University Perak (QIUP) recently participated in the Malaysia Education Fair in Zimbabwe as part of its International Student recruitment drive. Representing QIUP was Mr Ananth Lachumanan, Deputy Director from Student Recruitment.
As part of the tour in Zimbabwe, Mr. Ananth also held a meeting with Mr Amarjit Singh Sarjit Singh, Charge d’ Affaires of Malaysia to Zimbabwe and Comoros and Acting High Commissioner of Malaysia to Malawi, Mauritius, Seychelles and Zambia.
QIUP was warmly received by Mr. Amarjit Singh and discussions revolved around future G2G cooperation and student exchange programme between Zimbabwe and Malaysia. Mr. Ananth also had the opportunity to visit top schools in Harare run by Hindu Society Of Zimbabwe to speak about quality higher education opportunities at QIUP.
The response from students at the exhibition was very encouraging as many of them were impressed when told of the various nationalities among the teaching staff in QIUP making the University a truly International University.
Interest shown by the students was very positive with many sending in their application forms and necessary documents to be enrolled as students of QIUP.
