The Student Representative Council (SRC) of QIUP organised the Quest Masquerade Night 2016 recently at The Casuarina Hotel, Meru which gave staff and students a chance to mingle on a social platform where they got to know each other better and foster closer ties.
This year’s event saw students dressed in vibrant colours in accordance with the theme “Neon Night”. The event started with a performance by the SRC who sang the song “Satu Malaysia” which was in line with the University’s mission of promoting a 1Malaysia culture at QIUP.
Students and staff enthralled the audience with their superb performances which included songs, dances, beat-box performance and even a magic show. The lucky ones walked away with attractive prizes won at the luck draw sessions.
The highlight of the night was the crowning of Mr. and Ms. Quest. These awards were won by the deserving Mr. Sathis Kumar and Ms. Azraa Sormally who swept the judges off their feet with their attire.
Our Vice Chancellor, Dato’ Professor Dr Raman Narayanasamy, Chief Operating Officer, Mr Nicholas Goh and staff of the University also attended the event.
Everyone had a good time with the exciting performances lined up for the night and also the good food.
