Ms Ummu Hani made the podium in CRI2024 for her innovation proposal titled ‘Relaxis Crew’ – a unique solution to the challenges faced by families with special-needs children.
Our Bachelor of Arts TESL freshman, Vinod A/L Selva Raja, topped the podium at the recently concluded UTAR Chess Open Competition 2024 in the IPT (higher education) category.
The initiative highlighted the importance of community service and the impact of spending quality time with those in need.
This is the second big win notched up by our talented medical students, after they won a national intervarsity surgical quiz last year.
This priceless opportunity came along after Dr Angeline sat for the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)—a pathway that gives all QIU medical students the chance to specialise and practise in the US.
This latest victory adds to our tradition of sterling performances in academic and non-academic competitions, be it on the state, national, or international level.
The faculty’s senior lecturer, Ms Leong Ying Mei, and Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) students, Timothy Martin Fredric Martin and Kong Teng Sum, joined forces to win the AGRI-3 Problem Statement challenge (academic track).
The agreement will see both parties collaborate on merit-based scholarships, internship programmes and job shadowing, among others.
Marria swept past peers from University Malaya, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, International Islamic University Malaysia, and Monash University, among others.
