Adjunct Professor from Nanjing Normal University of Special Education
Professor Dr Li La’s primary research interest centres on Inclusive Education and Special Education. To date, he has published more than 70 journal articles in publications including International and Comparative Education Research, Curriculum, Teaching Material and Method, Journal of the Chinese Society of Education, and the Chinese Journal of Special Education among others.
He has published two academic monographs, namely Inclusive Education and Research on China’s Special Education Teacher Training System. He also oversaw the completion of several research projects, including:
- Research on Inclusive Education System: International Comparison and Local Construction – a key project of the Ministry of Education in the 13th Five-Year Plan of National Education Science.
- Research on the Construction Standards and Operation Mechanisms of Special Education Resource Centres under the Background of Inclusive Education – a project of the Humanities and Social Sciences Planning Fund of the Ministry of Education.
- Study on Construction of the Indicator System for High-quality Development of Inclusive Education in a New Era – a project of the Social Sciences Fund of Jiangsu Province. The research results were independently awarded the first prize for ‘Jiangsu Provincial Excellent Achievements in Educational Science’, and the second prize for ‘Jiangsu Provincial Universities Philosophy and Social Science Research Achievements’.
