Experience
Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mah Siew Kien has over two decades of experience in engineering education, having taught across various private higher education institutions in Malaysia. Her teaching expertise covers electronics, microelectronics, and engineering design, with a strong emphasis on project-based and industry-aligned learning. She has played key roles in curriculum development, programme accreditation and academic quality assurance.
In research, Dr. Mah focuses on microelectronics, semiconductor device modeling, and the Internet of Things (IoT), with expanding interests in artificial intelligence and data engineering. She has authored and co-authored technical journal articles, conference papers, and professional publications, particularly in semiconductor optimisation and emerging digital technologies. Her research work combines applied engineering with innovation in teaching and learning, supporting sustainable and future-oriented technology solutions.
