Bachelor of Environmental Technology (Honours)

Completing the three-year Environmental Technology programme at QIU during the challenges of a global pandemic strengthened both my resilience and the close bonds shared with peers and lecturers, especially with the invaluable guidance of Dr. Lee Sin Li during my FYP. The programme broadened my understanding of environmental systems and emerging technologies while encouraging curiosity, exploration, and active engagement beyond the classroom. Most importantly, it taught me to balance academic rigor with well-being and to view education as a platform for meaningful impact.

Spending three years studying Environmental Technology at QIU prepared me not only academically, but also personally. Beyond learning about the environment and technology, I developed creativity in my studies, built trust and respect through diverse group work, and learned the discipline required to balance multiple responsibilities. It wasn’t easy, but the experience shaped me into a more capable and resilient individual.

As a graduate student specializing in environmental technology, the knowledge gained from this course will directly translate into practical applications within the real-world contexts. I am grateful for the support and guidance provided by my lecturers in QIU, who have been instrumental in my academic journey. Their unwavering support served as the cornerstone of my educational experience, fostering both intellectual and personal growth. The challenges encountered throughout this course were met with enthusiasm, and the availability of knowledgeable lecturers and experienced peers ensured a stimulating learning environment, both academically and beyond.
