This course is designed in such a way as to produce researchers with knowledge in the area of pharmaceutical sciences, procedures and regulations related to the area of research. Information required to carry out the quality research would be useful to train graduates to conduct world-class research. Students are required to identify a suitable case or problem of interest, undertake a comprehensive study of the case and formulate a methodology for experiment. The research can be conducted entirely in their registered field of study or involve some form of cross discipline study. Students pursuing thesis are expected to demonstrate a high level of independence in conducting research.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Pharmacy or related fields with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2. 75 or equivalent, as accepted by the Quest International University (QIU) Senate; or
  • A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Pharmacy or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2. 50 and not meeting a CGPA of 2. 75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or
  • A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Pharmacy or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years of working experience in the relevant field and rigorous internal assessment; or
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
  • English Language Proficiency Requirements for International students: IELTS Academic: 5.5 or its equivalent (include MUET Band ≥ 4)
