Research Expertise: Plant tissue culture, micropropagation, plant cryopreservation, plant conservation, agriculture, microscopy, biochemistry and phytochemical studies.

Current Research Interest

  • Plant tissue culture of various agricultural and horticultural species.
  • Conservation and cryopreservation of rare and economically-important plant species.
  • Plant secondary metabolism.
  • Integration of LEDs in plant tissue culture.

  • Chairperson, “Heart-to-Heart with Science” monthly seminar organised by the Faculty of Science and Technology (2018 – present).
