Public Health Campaign
The annual Public Health Campaign organised by QIU Pharmacy Students Society will be held on Saturday, 23 August at Mydin Meru. The 2025 edition will focus on musculoskeletal health.
The opening ceremony starts at 10.30 AM, officiated by the Perak State Exco for Health YB A.Sivanesan, witnessed by Vice-Chancellor Professor Zita Mohd Fahmi and Registrar En Muhammad MG Omar.
What can you expect from this year’s campaign? We will have expert speakers sharing important information on different aspects of musculoskeletal health. These speakers will include orthopaedic surgeon Dr Paul Suman Jeya, physiotherapist Mr Muhammad Naquib, and our community pharmacist Mr Khairulanwar Husain.
The campaign will also feature blood and organ donation drives, workshops, children’s activities, medication management sessions, health screening and more.
CCA points will be awarded to students, and CPD hours have been approved for pharmacists. For medical doctors, an application can be made to the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) for approval.
