This course covers trends, issues, and challenges in e-learning. It requires participants to examine available literature and to cite relevant research findings in discussing the topics at hand. In addition, participants are given the opportunity to present their proposal on the adoption/adaptation of e-learning best practices for schools or their workplace.

  3. Synthesis challenges related to the use of e-learning in various settings
  4. Critique current research findings related to e-learning”

Target Audience:

Postgraduate Candidates, Educator from other Institutions and Public

Entry Requirements:

There is no entry qualification if the applicant enrols in the course for upskilling purposes or to upgrade knowledge or expertise and does not intend to continue with the Master of Education.

If the applicant enrols in the course with the objective of obtaining the Master of Education qualification, he/she must fulfil the following entry qualifications:

  1.  A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in the field or related fields with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the Higher Education Provider (HEP) Senate; or
  2. A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 MQF) in the field or related fields or equivqlent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment;
  3. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP and meet the minimum CGPA based on (I) and (II).
