Plant tissue culture is an ever-expanding field that has made a tremendous impact in the agricultural and horticultural scenes worldwide. The science behind the mass propagation of plants via plant cell, tissue, and organ culture has benefitted global food production, as evidenced by businesses generating billions of dollars annually as well as the increased number of large-scale plant tissue culture and biotechnology-based industries worldwide.

As such, the plant tissue culture field requires skilled workers in the years to come. In view of this, SAGE University Bhopal and QIU have organised a plant tissue culture course covering the art of manipulating plants in vitro.
