Call for Papers

The Faculty of Business and Management (FBM), Quest International University (QIU), Malaysia, is delighted to host the International Quest Business Conference (IQBC 2026) hybrid conference, from November 11-13, 2026. The theme for this event is “Sustainable Business Transformation in the Age of AI and Global Uncertainty”

IQBC2026: Call for Papers

The organising committee of IQBC 2026 is calling for full papers, extended abstracts, and poster submissions for the conference. This conference encompasses a wide range of tracks, incorporating various sub-disciplines that contribute to sustainable business. These tracks include, but are not limited to:

  • Business Strategy
  • Branding
  • Human Capital
  • Financial Sustainability
  • Economic Resilience
  • Digital Innovation
  • Hospitality Management

1. Submission of Paper

  1. Download the Paper Template and follow the format carefully.
  2. Your paper submission should only be in English.
  3. Word length should be between 3000 to 8000 words.
  4. Email iqbc_submissions@qiu.edu.my to submit.
  5. A receipt acknowledging your submission will be sent via email within
  6. All submitted papers are subject to a double-blind peer review process.
  7. The final decision on paper acceptance will be made by the IQBC 2026 Scientific Committee Chairperson.
  8. The review process will take a maximum of FOUR (4) weeks. All papers, accepted or rejected, will be returned to the author with reviewer comments.
  9. Accepted papers with revisions must be returned to the Secretariat within SEVEN (7) days of notification.
  10. Only authors of accepted papers will be eligible to register for the conference. Authors will be invited to register for presentation at the conference, either online or physically. (Refer to information below for preparation of presentation).
  11. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceeding.
  12. Selected high-quality papers from the conference will have the opportunity to be considered for publication in selected journals including QIU’s Journal of Social Sciences and Business (JSSB), subject to recommendations from IQBC’s board of reviewers.

The JSSB is a biannual and peer-reviewed open-access e-journal which accepts papers dealing with conceptual, theoretical and empirical concerns within the social-cultural, educational, political, economic and environmental contexts.

2. Submission of Extended Abstract

  1. Download the Extended Abstract Template and follow the format carefully.
  2. Your extended abstract submission should only be in English.
  3. Word length should not exceed 1500 words, excluding the reference list.
  4. The list of references should be limited to the cited literature in the extended abstract.
  5. Email iqbc_submissions@qiu.edu.my to submit.
  6. A receipt acknowledging your submission will be sent via email within THREE (3) working days.
  7. All submitted extended abstracts are subject to a double-blind peer review process conducted by the IQBC 2026 Scientific Committee.
  8. The final decision on extended abstract acceptance will be made by the IQBC 2026 Scientific Chairperson.
  9. The review process will take a maximum of FOUR (4) weeks. All papers, accepted or rejected, will be returned to the author with reviewer comments.
  10. Accepted extended abstract with revisions must be returned to the Secretariat within SEVEN (7) days of notification.
  11. Only authors of accepted extended abstract will be eligible to register for the conference. Authors will be invited to register for presentation at the conference, either online or physically. (Refer to information below for preparation of presentation).
  12. Accepted extended abstracts will be published in the conference proceeding.

3. Submission of Poster

  1. Download the Poster Template
  2. Your poster submission should only be in English.
  3. Email iqbc_submissions@qiu.edu.my  to submit.
  4. Only authors of accepted posters will be eligible to register for the conference. Authors will be invited to register for poster presentation at the conference physically. (Refer to information below for preparation of poster presentation).

4. Preparation of Paper and Extended Abstract Presentation

  1. Once you have received the acceptance letter, you can register (registration link via email) for the conference.
  2. Download the Presentation Template
  3. The total number of presentation slides should not exceed TEN.
  4. Download the Disclosure Form
  5. Email the below to iqbc_submissions@qiu.edu.my
    1. A brief biography (maximum 100 words) with a picture (headshot)
    2. Your presentation slides
    3. Completed Disclosure Form


5. Preparation of Poster Presentation

  1. Once you have received the acceptance letter, you can register (registration link via email) for the conference.
  2. Print out your poster following the requirements below:
    • Size: A1 (594 x 841 mm), portrait orientation
    • Language: English
    • Font size should be suitable for the audience’s reading from approximately 1 metre.
    • Content should include:
    •  Title and author information
    • Introduction / Background
    • Objectives
    • Methodology / Approach
    • Key Findings / Insights
    • Conclusion / Recommendations
    • Visual elements (charts, graphs, images)
  3. The conference organizer will provide a display board and double sided tape for poster display purposes.
  4. The poster must be displayed at the designated place, date and time specified by the organizer.
