Before collecting your robe you will need to complete the following surveys.
Please take note that the surveys you will need to complete may differ, depending on your graduation year.
This QIU exit survey is for 2025 and 2026 graduates. Fill up the survey HERE.
This employability survey is for 2025 and 2026 graduates.
Here’s what you will need to do:
The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE)’s Graduates Tracer Study—also known as the SKPG— is a survey conducted among graduates of higher learning institutions in conjunction with their convocation ceremonies.
The objective of the survey is to get information on how graduates of various disciplines develop their careers over a long period of time.
This survey is for 2025 and 2026 graduates. – Click here for the survey
For the 2026 ceremony, we will be using facial recognition scans to process your registration, academic dress collection, and attendance during the ceremony.
When you confirm your attendance via our convocation portal, you will be asked to upload a photo of yourself to our facial recognition database.
Please adhere to the guidelines we have put in place; failing to do so may complicate your registration process.
You will be able to book your academic dress, as well as any other 9th QIU Convocation merchandise via our official portal.
Ahead of the big day, you can collect your academic dress and merchandise at the QIU campus, according to the following details:
Date: 20 November 2026 (Friday)
Time: 9 am – 3 pm
Venue: Exam Hall, Level 3, ASB
The use of facial recognition scanning means that you will have to collect your academic dress in person. To facilitate this, you are allowed to collect your academic dress on the day of the ceremony. However, we strongly encourage you to collect the dress earlier, to avoid any rush.
When you collect your academic dress, please ensure that you have received all the required items. This should include:
A robe
A mortarboard
A hood
Guest tickets (if applicable)
Merchandise (if applicable)
Please also check whether the size of the academic dress is accurate.
For details about the convocation photo packages, please get in touch with the vendor directly during the robe collection on November 21st, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM at the exam hall. Graduands are required to collect their robes a day before and return them by the end of the convocation day, no later than 6:00 PM. If you wish to extend the robe rental period, please speak to the vendor directly as additional payment may be required.
Graduands must ensure that all pending payments to the University have been made in full before they register for the convocation.
This includes, but is not limited to the following:
