Before collecting your robe—as well as any 6th QIU Convocation merchandise you may have purchased—you will need to complete the following surveys.
Please take note that the surveys you will need to complete may differ, depending on your graduation year.
This QIU exit survey is for 2020, 2021 and 2022 graduates. Head to the link here to begin the survey.
The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE)’s Graduates Tracer Study—also known as the SKPG— is a survey conducted among graduates of higher learning institutions in conjunction with their convocation ceremonies.
The objective of the survey is to get information on how graduates of various disciplines develop their careers over a long period of time.
This survey is only for 2022 graduates. Click the link here to begin the survey.
You will be able to book your academic dress, as well as any other 6th QIU Convocation merchandise via our official portal.
Ahead of the big day, you can collect your academic dress and merchandise at the QIU campus, according to the following details:
Date: August 11 and 12, 2022
Time: 9 am to 5 pm
To collect your academic dress/merchandise, you will need to present the QR code that was issued to you after completing your payment on the Convocation portal.
When you collect your academic dress, please ensure that you have received all the required items. This should include:
A robe A mortarboard A hood Guest tickets (if applicable) Convocation parking sticker Merchandise (if applicable)
Please also check whether the size of the academic dress is accurate.
Representatives are allowed to collect academic dress/merchandise on behalf of other graduands. However, they must provide the accurate QR codes when collecting the items.
Graduands must ensure that all pending payments to the University have been made in full before they register for the convocation.

The convocation ceremony will be held at the Jubilee Ballroom of the Royal Perak Golf Club.

It may seem like there’s a lot to do before the big ceremony. To make it easier for you, here’s an easy checklist to make sure you didn’t miss anything.
RSVP at our convocation portal Make your payments at our convocation portal. Make sure you keep your QR code after completing your payment. Complete the QIU exit survey SKPG survey (only for 2022 graduands) Academic Dress collection(including parking stickers, guest tickets, and merchandise) Pass the tickets to your guests Inform your guests about the dress code (head to the “During Convocation” section for the full details) Make your travel plans. We recommend that you arrive at the RPGC at least an hour before your session is scheduled to start.
