The domestic consumption of tissue cultured plants or their products has grown hand-in-hand with the awareness on the advantages plant tissue culture confer in terms of plantlet yield and quality. As such, the plant tissue culture field requires skilled workers in the years to come. In view of this, a joint venture has been initiated by SAGE University, India, and Quest International University, Malaysia, to organise a plant tissue culture course that aims to equip potential tissue culturists in the art of manipulating plants in vitro via a virtual training that will provide basic knowledge on plant tissue culture as well as advanced research techniques and skills for commercial purposes. The course, which will be held for four hours daily from 14-18 November 2022, will be handled by experienced plant tissue culture experts affiliated to both SAGE University Bhopal and SAGE University Indore as well as Quest International University.
