Dr. K. Chitra is a distinguished academic leader with over 30 years of experience in teaching, research, consultancy, administration, and educational leadership. She was the founding Director of Management Studies at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College and has published 75 research papers in refereed journals. Dr. Chitra has secured research funding from esteemed bodies in India such as the Department of Science and Technology, NST-MIS, AICTE, and IMPRESS for various projects and seminars. She has served on the Board of Studies for reputed institutions and as an Academic Council member for Bharathiar University. She authorizes books on business and retail management and mentors Ph.D. scholars. Dr. Chitra’s achievements include the Lifetime Education Achievement Award, the Distinguished Principal of the Year Award (2024), and the Guru Vashitha Award (2023). She holds leadership roles in the Coimbatore Productivity Council and other professional bodies and has contributed to academic assignments globally.
