Centre for Botanicals and Clinical Research (CBCR)

Overview

Our center is committed to exploring the vast potential of natural compounds derived from medicinal plants (phytochemicals) and their health-promoting properties. Phytopharmaceuticals, also known as herbal medicines or botanical drugs, are medicinal compounds derived from plants. Throughout history, various cultures have harnessed the healing properties of plants to treat various ailments and promote well-being. In modern times, there is a growing interest in exploring the scientific basis of these traditional remedies, and our center is at the forefront of this endeavor.

At the Centre for Botanicals and Clinical Research, our primary mission is to promote the safe and effective use of phytopharmaceuticals through systematic fundamental scientific research, clinical trials, and evidence-based practices. We strive to contribute to and support the integration of traditional medicine with modern healthcare, thereby providing the public with safe and effective adjuvant, alternative and complementary treatment options.
