Eppendorf–Canvio Cell and Gene Therapy Workshop

The Centre of Stem Cell Research was honoured to participate as an invited speaker at the Eppendorf–Canvio Cell and Gene Therapy Workshop, held on 29 April 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. Leveraging our expertise, Dr. Koh Cai Ping delivered a presentation on proposed quality control (QC) strategies for cell therapy, emphasizing the critical need for robust and reliable testing methodologies to ensure the quality, consistency, and safety of cell-based products. The discussion session that followed featured in-depth exchanges between industry stakeholders and R&D researchers, facilitating constructive dialogue on advancing QC practices and fostering potential collaborations aligned with CSCR’s research vision and mission. This fruitful exchange not only reinforced our commitment to advancing cell therapy research but also laid the groundwork for future partnerships that will drive innovation in the field.
