Where is it located?<\/strong><\/p><p>The conference will be held from 4<sup>th<\/sup> to 5<sup>th<\/sup> December, 2021 via an online Zoom platform.<\/p><p><strong>2) What is the conference about?<\/strong><\/p><p>The SEMB conference is aimed at uniting key stakeholders (educators, parents, specialists, and the industry) to engage in meaningful conversation about the future of our children and how we can embrace and empower children with special needs. Spanning four distinct themes, our objective is to raise awareness and share best practices from multiple perspectives in order to provide optimal physical, mental, emotional and educational support to our special children.<\/p><p><strong>3) Who should attend this conference?<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Special Needs Education Principals, Administrators and Teachers;<\/li><li>Early Childhood Education Teachers and Administrators;<\/li><li>Ministry of Education Officials;<\/li><li>Teachers from all Educational Environments (including Inclusive Education);<\/li><li>Non-governmental organizations staff;<\/li><li>Parents;<\/li><li>Members of the Public interested in this area.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>4) What do I do if I need to cancel or pull out from the conference? Is the fee refundable?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p>Paid registration\/abstract submission\/sponsorship\/exhibition fees are non-refundable. Can I get a copy of the recordings to watch later?<\/strong><\/p><p>Many of our sessions will be pre-recorded. For sessions that will be conducted live, they will also be recorded. All the recordings will be available for 30-day viewing access after the conference ends on the Whova conference platform.<\/p><h4><strong>For presenters<\/strong><\/h4><p><strong>1) I\u2019m interested in presenting at the conference. Where can I submit my abstract?<\/strong><\/p><p>You may submit your abstracts to <a href=\"mailto:semb_papers@qiu.edu.my\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>semb_papers@qiu.edu.my<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and our Academic, Scientific and Technical Committee will receive and review your submission.<\/p><p><strong>2) I have submitted my abstract. When can I expect to receive feedback?<\/strong><\/p><p>Upon submission of the abstract, the Academic and Technical Committee will review your submission and feedback will be given within 4 weeks.<\/p><p><strong>3) My abstract is accepted.
