About

When Quest International University (QIU) was launched in 2011, we aspired to be more than just another degree mill.

Any university can provide its graduates with a degree and an education. But we’re here to produce graduates who change the game, innovators who leave a legacy in their creations, leaders who push for positive change. And above all, we aim to produce good people—caring, responsible, respectable individuals who care for their fellow man and the world around them. They are the QIU legacy and our mission of transforming lives and communities begins in the beautiful state of Perak.

“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops – Henry Adams”

Echoing Henry Adams, QIU’s School of Education has a strong desire and aim to develop professionally-qualified teachers that meet the needs and challenges of the knowledge economy. The Department endeavours to achieve excellence by facilitating quality-based education by transforming learning into an enterprise grounded in research, revolving around continuous assessments of learning, and making evidence-driven decisions which enables our graduates to evolve as full-fledged teachers. Our Bachelor of Special Needs Education (Honours) programme is tailored for students who are interested and passionate to work with children with special needs. The programme equips its graduates with the competencies and attitudes that will enable them to work effectively in this field. A key feature of the programme is the acquisition of skills and competencies in practical contexts.
